14 Best Powders for Makeup That Lasts All DayOily skin doesn't stand a chance against these reader-tested and approved face powders |
When it comes to face makeup, most of us will go to amazing lengths in order to find that perfect product. That one foundation, powder or concealer that completely hides spots, minimizes lines and creates an overall flawless finish. (Does one such product even exist?) We will spend a ton of cash — maybe not on one product, but on the hundreds we've tested in a lifetime — read reviews until we're dizzy and, of course, allow makeup artist after makeup artist to convince us that their product is the best. That's a lot of work for a category of makeup that shouldn't really get noticed, right? Well, in order to put an end to this madness and to hopefully save you a few bucks, we thought we'd share a list of the top-rated face powders according to our readers, along with a few editors' picks.
We combed through thousands of reviews to bring you the most helpful, insightful tidbits about the best face powders on our site. Readers claim these powders are winners amongst a sea of mediocre face products.
So before you set your makeup again, take a gander at the best powders on this list and ask yourself: "Self, would you say such lovely things about the powder you just topped your foundation with?" If the answer is no, it's time to hit the drugstore aisle or beauty counter — armed with this list of the 14 best face powders.

I haven't really needed powder since I've used Lancome's "Dual Finish Versatile Powder Foundation." It functions as both as base and a powder and keeps oil at bay and my skin virtually flawless and glowing!

Many great options, I havent tried them all but have used 4-5 of them. The Geurlain meteorites work fabulously and are a collecters item as well. Each collection has them in slightly different colour formulations and they really do provide an excellent finsih natural but better. I have two types but I know there are people who have collected 9 or more as they are really so beautiful as a product and as a decorative item on your beauty table. The whole brand is amazing and I have to stay away as I am so tempted. For a more affordable product the clinique works well and they will take back if you dont get one you like. I tried 3 and found my match, aging skin needs that extra! Good selection

Bare minerals made my skin extra oily so i stopped using it. I did however look great when taking pictures with it on.
