8 Father's Day Grooming Gifts He Will Actually UseHint: Dad does not want girly beauty products. Get him something a man would use |
When it comes to buying a gift for dear ol' dad (or husband of the century) to thank him for being so, well, awesome, it's just so darn tempting to pick things you think he needs, or you want him to have. You know the type; the "Gee, Dad's ties are so stuck in the '80s that I'd better get him one from this decade"-gift, or the "Wow, I really wish he could drop those 15 pounds, I'd better go with a Foreman Grill."
Skip to see the beauty products fit for a man's taste.
Then there's the perennial grooming gift -- the "He should really start exfoliating" or "Who wouldn't love these gorgeous smelling soaps?" While your intentions may very well be honorable, don't expect him to do back flips for girly beauty products.
Yes, we all want the men in our lives to be well groomed, but we don't want to give him a gift that's so fem he won't touch it. Solution? Get him a great "manly" (read: practical) men's body product or grooming item disguised by a "cool" man factor (read: high-tech). That way, everyone wins.

I noticed that the violight toothbrush sanitizer was featured, that was actually one of the products I considered getting for my dad, but I opted out to get another violight product, the cell phone cleaner. I can't wait to see the look on my dad's face when I give it to him! :D

Great gifts but the Dad in my life (hubby) would prefer tickets to a Yankees game.

These are all great gifts. My dad is more of an outdoors-ee type so he would more appreciate a new set of hand tools or something like that. Ohhh a new BBQ too!

Sorry, but most of the dads I know would rather take a trip to Bass Pro Shop!

I personally wouldn't get my dad any of these. They seem pretty well, generic, type gifts that are very typical. I think it would be better to give us new ideas of things that arent promoted every year.

My dad is a simple guy. All he needs is a soap bar and a toothbrush and he's fine. I don't think he would use any of these, but some i these i might want to use myself! :)
