  Glycerin bars have been highly recommended to me as a young teenager years ago by dermatologists and yet I was skeptical they did me good as rarely have I found any bath bars have. This one was different but before I say the good, I've start with the bad by saying this didn't clear my acne. But I'll tell you that it lessened the redness and moisturized my skin better than an ordinary soap which can also either have alkaline or leave filmy residue on skin, either one is bad regardless. Also, it is great for sensitive skin that find even cream cleansers too much for their skin and not effectively getting rid of makeup, this will do the job. The one negative part about using bar soaps is that it can be contaminated with whatever bacteria was on your face or hands if you don't wash the bar itself after use. Other than that, you may like this as an alternative to whatever else is in the market bottled or boxed. May 27, 2008, 5:02 am

  drying

  This didnt clear up my acne, it just dried out the surface and made my skin tight... so under the very thing top layer of scales, my small clogged-pore bumpy type pimples were still there. I try it every so often (every few years), and it still hasn't grown on me.. not even for the few pimples i sometimes get on my shoulde...   Never leave home without it

  A doctor recommended this priduct to me when I complained about acne scarring and uneven skintone. It costs just over two bucks and works wonders. It's the only cleanser I've used for the past few years and acne is a thing of the past. Get some! December 4, 2007, 7:04 pm

  Super Body Bar

  This is great if you are prone to break outs on your back or chest area- but a wee bit drying to use on your face. For your face use the Neutrogena facial wash. It works great but isn't quite as strong as the bar, February 26, 2008, 2:59 am

  Great For All Over

  As someone who is prone to having a few acne problems on places other than my face(back and chest)this is by far the best acne control soap because you can use it all over. It clears up skin, but doesnt over dry. When used with a good mosturizer, it really works wonders for combination skin. December 31, 2007, 1:07 pm

  All the product did was temporarily dry out my skin. It did abosolutely nothing for my acne. I could have just as easily used a regular bar of soap on my face. October 29, 2008, 11:33 am

  Good Product

  I really like this product. I have oily skin and it removes the oil very well. It does help keep my skin clear better than face washes. It dries your skin which is a good thing for me because of the excess oil. October 24, 2008, 6:28 pm

  Very clean

  This soap is the best for people who have problems with acne. I am in my mid-thirties and have some breakouts around my jawline and forehead. This product takes care of it all. Neutrogena is better on the wallet than going to a dermotologist! September 2, 2008, 3:25 am

  dried out my face

  If you like a glycerin soap this is really good. I always feel like my face is really clean and this helped with my blackheads and keeps the pores clean. August 1, 2008, 8:08 pm
