I have SUPER thick, frizzy, dry and unmanageable hair. This stuff helps a little bit at controlling my hair, but not much. It does make waves slightly more defined, but I like that. I occasionally use this product to tame flyaways and to define my ends. It smells nice, is lightweight, though make sure you don't use too much or it will weigh your hair down.
