Good product but not for all skins
This foundation stick, while a good product, isn't right for everyone. For one, if your skin is oily it will not work well on it and may not last. My skin is normal/oily and this did not do well on it. It wound up looking shiny even with powder application. If you need concealing this stick will not do the job. It's too sheer to allow any real coverage and any extra applications will wind up loo...read moreking cakey and heavy. For normal/dry skin with minor flaws it might work. It's convenient and portable and comes in a wide range of shades for different skin tones. Just be wary if you have normal/oily or oily skin, it will not control oil. This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 9 of 12 people said helpful

Former fangirl is no longer
I used to use this all the time because I hated wearing foundation. It's probably a great foundation for people who aren't fans of foundation. It's very portable for touch ups (which you will need many of) and can be dually purposed as a foundation and concealer. I like foundation now, and just find this ok to disappointing. It's thick and blends sort of well with a brush (but her foundation...read more brush kind of sucks, so don't get that one). The skin colors are excellent on me - I'm an NW20 and wear Cool Sand and Sand works as well. I am not a fan of the stick thing. The only advantage is the portability, which would not be needed if it could last 4 hours. I think it gets dirty and bacteria on it constantly touching your face every day. I'd rather have a bottle or tube, where the entire product isn't rubbing your face all the time. As I stated before, it also doesn't last all day. The packaging says 8 hours, but that's just not true. At $40+ I think it should. It seems incompatible with primer, so that won't help. I'm kind of mad at myself for liking this so much for so long as the product, albeit the colors, isn't that great for me. I'd say save your money and look at your other options. Or get a small one and take it for a test drive. This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Can Be Used In Place of Concealer
For a few years I used Bobbi Brown Foundation stick (warm ivory) as a concealer. Since I don't wear much foundation and generally use tinted moisturizer (one of them being Bobbi Brown's), I used the foundation stick in lieu of a heavier concealer. The lipstick-like tube made it handbag-friendly and easy to use. I also used it as a base for eyeshadow. The only reason I switched to a different brand is that Warm Ivory was a little too yellow for my fair skin. This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
