We're already envious of French women's diets and style, and it looks like we should be stealing their beauty regimens, too.
A new survey reported by Daily Mail and conducted in Britain found that on average, French women look about seven years younger than British women by the time they hit 40. Their secret? Skin care. About 89 percent of French women credit their skin care regimens for their appearance and more than two-thirds of French women start using anti-aging products by age 20.
If you'd like to take a page out of France's skin care book, try serums from quintessentially French line Lancôme. Lancôme Visionnaire, $69, can help smooth wrinkles, minimize pores and even skin tone. And Lancôme Génifique Youth Activating Concentrate, $102, actually boosts genes' activity and…

Cate Blanchett is the new face of Giorgio Armani fragrances. She's an obvious choice for the brand -- and not just because she's gorgeous. She's also a loyal supporter of the designer and often wears his gowns on the red carpet. Blanchett typically steers clear of campaign work (other than skin care brand SK-II), but we're sure this deal was hard to pass up. Source: The Cut
Time to ditch the Easter egg pastels! The new summer collection from Nars, available April 15, is a burst of bright eyeshadow, lipstick, and polish. The collection, inspired by 1970s futuristic glamour, brings together bold colors like iridescent lilac, electric orange and icy mint. Source: POPSUGAR

Have you ever taken a staycation? I never believed in the concept (I love my own bed too much) until this past weekend when I had the opportunity to stay in the Dream Hotel, which is about 10 blocks from my Manhattan apartment. My husband and dog came along, and we had a blast.
The best part? I tested a ton of new beauty products. There's something about a spacious, super-clean hotel bathroom that just begs for experimentation -- a great bathroom is to a beauty editor what a fancy kitchen is to a chef. So I locked myself in there for an hour and got to work. There were facemasks, and foot scrubs, and lotions galore. But the highlight was Pantene Pro-V Overnight Miracle Repair Serum, $5.99, which I slathered onto the ends of my hair before I went to sleep.
The serum is incredibly…

There must be something in the air because this week has been full of celeb hair changes:
"Modern Family" star Ariel Winter debuted fire engine red locks. Fitting for a girl who shares the same name as a Disney princess known for red hair, don't you think? And her costar Sofia Vergara went back to her natural roots, which are surprisingly…blonde.
Lauren Conrad, on the other hand, accidentally colored her hair pink during the festival of Holi in India, where participants celebrate by throwing brightly colored pigments at each other. Not too shabby for a free dye job!
Kelly Osbourne didn't change her hue, but decided to amp up her lavender locks with super-long, purple extensions for an early '70s vibe.
And we saw more than color -- celebs also got scissor-happy this week.…

With Easter on Sunday, I've got bunnies on the brain. So I'm taking a moment to appreciate beauty brands that do their part to protect our furry friends (read: don't test on animals).
Singer and animal activist Leona Lewis is clearly with me. She teamed up with The Body Shop to create a limited edition beauty collection to benefit Cruelty Free International. There are two fragrances, four shades of lip gloss, two shimmer palettes, and a hot pink blush brush, it all comes in adorable animal-adorned packaging, and it arrives at select stores (and TheBodyShop-USA.com) on April 15.
The star stopped by a Body Shop store in London earlier this week to check out the products, and she looked gorgeous in a black and white outfit with a pop of color on her lips. (The eyelashes are fierce,…
