Researchers at the University of Bristol in England created a fuel cell that can harness urine to generate electricity. • Well this is crazy (no pun intended): An article in the journal Medical Hypotheses posits that there's a connection between high heels and schizophrenia. Says Jarl Flensmark, an increase in heeled shoes in an area correlates to an increase in schizophrenia in the population. High heels, he says, reduce stimulation of something called mechanoreceptors.
