Peeping-up-the-skirt Toms are apparently a big problem in China. Women are discouraged from wearing "revealing" dresses and skirts on public transportation to keep prying eyes away from their thighs, but we love this novel new way to fend off leering pervs: hairy tights.

These hairy man-leg tights, posted on a Chinese social media site, are supposed to deter creeps from ogling. (The awesome caption reads: "Super sexy, summertime anti-pervert full-leg-of-hair stockings, essential for all young girls going out.")

Of course, this puts the onus on women to protect themselves by looking hideous and unappealing to men, rather than cracking down on the panty-peeking weirdos. How about making the pervs wear some kind of uncomfortable scarlet letter for their sins?

Then again, is checking out a woman's legs really the worst offense? There's no excuse for touching, groping or x-raying a woman's privates with your eyeballs, but a quick peek at the legs isn't the end of the world. C'mon, we've all been guilty of a double-take and surreptitiously checking out hot men.
