While cronuts are currently all the rage in New York City (for those of you who haven't heard, the cronut is a croissant-doughnut hybrid that's apparently so tasty, they're selling on the black market for more than $40 each), the rest of us doughnut lovers have this to look forward to: On Friday, Dunkin Donuts will debut a new breakfast item called the Doughnut Bacon Sandwich.
That's right, we'll soon be able to get mounds of pan-fried eggs and cherrywood-smoked bacon stuffed between a glazed doughnut.

But unlike
this shockingly unhealthy new fast food breakfast, Dunkin's new meal may actually be better for you than you think. At least, it's better for you than their "healthy" turkey sausage sandwich.
In fact, at just 360 calories, the new doughnut sandwich is now the chain's healthiest -- that's right,
healthiest -- breakfast sandwich.
What do you think: Will you try it when it hits your local Dunkin Donuts this week?
