This is absolutely fascinating: a dress that can track eye contact. The designer dress, created by Montreal based designer Ying Yao, is rigged with new technology that senses eye movements. When eyes are on the dress, sensors trigger tiny motors in the fabric and make the dress move.
Our first thought: if we wear this out in public, would we get a full-body massage from all of the eye action ... or would it sit (sadly) still? And do we really want to know how often people are checking us out? Because ... that could be creepy if, say, you're in church.
Only two dresses have been designed with this technology, and for the life of me, I couldn't think of any legit reason why something like this would exist, unless it's part of a bigger anti-pervert fashion trend happening in China? Imagine if they could isolate the area where the dress moves, so you know exactly what part of your body is being ogled?
Watch the video to see this crazy technology in action.
