Remember when Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir skated to gold at their third Olympics in Pyeongchang 2018?
That sure was the good ol' days... before the ice dancing pair's retirement. Before two whole summer ice show tours of their home country of Canada. Before a whole Netflix series that was clearly inspired by them both aired
and was summarily canceled.
At any rate, the record-breaking champion skater, a longtime wearer-of-M.A.C. (she famously wore the
M.A.C. Lipstick in Mehr at the 2018 Games), sure designed a good one. Her namesake shade is a universally flattering warm pink with a satin finish.
For
M.A.C. lipstick aficionados, Virtue says the shade is inspired by the popular pinks Brave, Syrup and, of course, Mehr. "To be totally honest, I've probably worn this exact shade, the Tessa Virtue shade, every day since I received the sample," said
Virtue in an interview with Yahoo Canada. She explained that she designed the shade as a "your lips but better" color that was suitable "for every day" wear, "but that could be boosted for special events."
