Ever had a fancy pants event to go to and wished you could summon Sofia Vergara's hair and makeup peeps to your room to get you all gussied up for it? Your wish is BeautyFriend's command.

The new app, available now at the App Store, lets you choose which celeb stylist you want (you scroll through a roster that illuminates which stars each artist has worked on) and when and where you'd like them to show up.

Don't really care on whom an artist has worked but just want someone tapped into the Hollywood scene? No problem. BeautyFinder also lets you search by location, availability, proximity, specialty and portfolio.

Gone are the days of having to leave the comfort of your own home to prep for an event or of booking the same house call hair girl every one of your friends uses. BeautyFriend brings the knowledge, skill and glamour straight to your doorstep. The brainchild of celebrity hairstylist Adriana Tesler, who counts Vergara, Kate Beckinsale, Molly Sims and the Hilton sisters among her stable of high profile clients, the new app helps eliminate the guesswork from choosing a hair or makeup pro (or both). You see their previous works, view their press clippings and hone in on whom you'd like to have stop by. Then, you pick the date, time and location and the app does the rest.

Of course, unless you're super-loaded (need a new BFF?), you'll only ever use this app for special occasions when looking fab is of paramount importance, but it's kind of cool to be able to say (in a blasé, off the cuff manner, natch) that Jennifer Lawrence's stylist just happened to do your hair -- in your bathroom.
