Did you happen to catch
Kris Jenner's cryptic tweets about her "brave and vulnerable" daughter Kendall Jenner? Well, turns out she was hyping up Kendall's new partnership with
Proactiv, which was unveiled at the 2019 Golden Globe Awards.
The rollout came in the form of a new ad. Fittingly, it takes us back a year — to Kendall's first time at the Golden Globes last year. "I got on the carpet; I felt really good about myself," she recalls in the ad. "I loved my dress and my hair, and my makeup was so beautiful."
But it wasn't all wine and roses, according to Jenner. "Then I remember going online and seeing all the horrible things people were saying about me and my skin." Luckily, things turned around when some fans pointed out how empowering it was to see a high-profile star walking the red carpet with a visible breakout. "But at the same time, I
do want it gone," she amends.
Then, empowering music swells as we watch the supermodel do her nightly skin care routine with a full slate of Proactiv (which Jenner dubs "magic," by the way).
Jenner has been outspoken about
her troubles with acne for years and it's long been something that's endeared her to fans. Seems like she and Proactiv may just be a match made in heaven.
