Last December, a
frisson went through the fashion world when Karl Lagerfeld announced that pouty Kristen Stewart would be the new "face" of Chanel.
Then, when the label was lambasted for walking racially insensitive Native American headdresses down its "Pre-Fall" couture collection show in (random) Dallas, the appointment of controversial K-Stew started to make a bit more sense.
Now that some of the images of her upcoming campaign, shot by Lagerfeld himself, have been "leaked" online, the final puzzle piece has fallen into place.

Here we have Rob Pattinson's ex wearing pretty much what you'd imagine she'd have on in her real life -- if you spent any amount of time imagining such things.
Cowboy boots, fringe, prairie dresses, corn-rowed hair. From what we can glimpse from the grainy campaign photos (they
were leaked after all), due out in a legit matter in May, the collection looks very Ralph Lauren-y -- you have extremely feminine pieces paired with tougher, more masculine ones. Very Scarlett O'Hara meets James Dean.
But, at least there's no sign of a headdress -- yet.
