Those "aw shucks" geniuses at Google are so used to inventing cool tools that they've become downright blasé about it.
Witness: Back in January -- I'd assume to jibe with the onslaught of New Year "I'm gonna get skinny in 2014 dagnabbit" resolutions -- Google launched a nutrition comparison search tool that they made little-to-no hoopla over.
Modesty may suit them, but we sure wish we'd known about this handy functionality before inhaling that grasshopper pie the other day.

Here's the deal, from the
oracle itself. Go to the Google Search page, tap the microphone and say, "Ok, Google, compare potato chips and French fries" and lo and behold, "Google will show you a side-by-side comparison of nutritional information such as calories, carbohydrates and protein."
(Hint: if you're on a Mac, be sure you have the most updated
Google Search app.)
So, what are you waiting for? Start comparing! You know you want to -- you won't have had this much fun playing with non-gaming technology since asking Siri to tell you dirty jokes.
