It's high time pubic hair had its place in social media, and I could think of no better outlet than Pinterest, the landing page for all things pretty, DIY, and aesthetically pleasing.
Schick, the creator of the Schick Quattro for Women TrimStyle (the only razor and bikini trimmer in one) shares similar sentiments.
To promote the new revolutionary bikini trimmer, Schick has launched a new campaign called "
Prune for June," that invites women to curate Pinterest boards inspired by their chosen pubic-hair formations. Because what could possibly be
more inspiring than your style down there?
"Just pick a topiary theme and create your own summer-inspired Pinterest board," Schick instructs. However, you're out of luck if you vajazzle or go completely bare. To create a board, you must choose from one of 5 predetermined styles like "The Landing Strip," "The Bare-Muda Triangle," and "The Flash." (Don't worry, there are helpful shapes to help you identify what each style actually looks like).
But before you get started, be forewarned that crotch shots are
not allowed on Pinterest, so it's time to get creative with your pubic inspiration. Personally, I was envisioning boards filled with shrubbery, topiary, and hedge clippers, (a la Schick's
commercials). But if you look at the example pube Pinterest boards that five beauty and style bloggers created for the brand, you'll quickly learn that your landing strip is supposed to inspire pins of striped items, like bright maxis and stylish umbrella stands. To each her own, I suppose.
