Drugstore beauty fiends rejoice: Target is giving their beauty aisle a Sephora-style makeover, and your shopping experience is about to get a
lot better.
That's right: According to WWD,
Target's new beauty section will feature an open floor plan, as well as easier to access shelves and better lighting -- all the better to shop in, right? Oh, and here's the kicker: You'll actually be able to try the products on, a notably rare luxury when it comes to drugstore beauty options.
"The new design in beauty pulls you in," said Target executive vice president and chief merchandising officer Mark Tritton to WWD, "It's a specialty environment that invites you to shop." The store will begin the roll-out of their new-and-improved beauty aisle imminently -- by the end of October, 75 Targets across the country will have gotten their makeover.
Since the brand-new look comes in conjunction with other improvements and updates like the partnership with
K-beauty e-commerce destination Glow Recipe, things are looking better and better for Target. Exciting, no?
