This new MINI ad airing in Mexico takes aim at applying makeup while driving, claiming that's the reason 22 percent of accidents in the country are caused by women. (We'll let the fact that this means men are responsible for 78 percent of accidents slide for now.)

We're totally on board with the "don't make up and drive" sentiment -- it's true it can lead to accidents, not to mention shaky cat eyes and unsightly lipstick-up-the-nose scenarios. But the idea that this is the only reason women cause car accidents? Pretty ridiculous.
