Wet n Wild has announced Diandra Forrest as one of the faces of their new campaign... marking this as the
first time a model with albinism has been tapped as the face of a major beauty brand.
It's exciting all around, especially as Wet n Wild has put together such a diverse crew: The campaign also includes transgender model/activist Valentijin de Hingh, cancer survivor/amputee activist Mama Cax, musician Michelle Zauner and Olympic weightlifter-
cum-model Briana Marquez.
For her part, Forrest spoke warmly of her new gig. "It's always great to be a part of a brand that celebrates diversity, and prides itself on being inclusive to all!" she
wrote on Instagram.
So far, it looks like beauty juggernauts like Wet n Wild, Fenty Beauty and
CoverGirl are leading the charge for diversity with their new empowering and inclusive ad campaigns. Which brand do you think will start upping their game next?
