Makeup Looks That Take Less Than 4 MinutesOur editors smudged, lined, swiped and smiled to prove these six makeup looks and tips will make you look gorgeous -- in a flash |
Tester: Kristen Oldham Giordani, Senior Editor Time it took: 2 minutes, 50 seconds
Products used:
BareMinerals Eyecolor in Queen Phyllis and Queen Linda, $12
Physicians Formula Magic Mosaic Multi-Colored Custom Blush in Nude/Warm Nude, $10.95
Bourjois Docteur Glamour Intensive Moisturizing+Treatment Lipstick in Rose Toubib, $15
What she thought:
I came to the office wearing only my BareMinerals Original SPF 15 Foundation, $25 Estee Lauder Double Wear Mascara, $19.50 and VS Makeup Pro Brow FX Grooming Gel, $12 (all of which took me a minute to apply at home). I was quickly able to transform my colorless complexion to a much brighter, more "finished" look with the above products. This could be an everyday, go-to look for me as I always seem to get compliments when I wear a bold color on my lips. This look would also work on a variety of skin tones (not just fair chicks like me) -- peach blush is universally flattering as are many berry shades of lipstick. Only tweak I would recommend is choosing darker taupe shades of shadow if your skin tone is darker in order to get the same subtle effect.

I found all of these to be very interesting. All the women were absolutely beautiful! I like how the woman on slide 11 used cheaper products to begin with. Thanks.

These were fun! Now I have some ideas for new looks I can try out with makeup I already own at home.
