Best Butt Workouts: Step Ups • Step up onto a bench/step and back down with your right foot 10 times. Make sure your knee is directly above your ankle as you step up.
• Switch feet and step up with your left foot 10 times.
• Want to challenge your abs while you do this? Interlace your hands behind your head.
Note: If you are collapsing into your back (meaning that your spine is curving) when you step up, the bench/step you're using is likely too high.
I agree with postpartumpunk! Lifting heavier gives you SO much better results. It disappoints me seeing women constantly led to believe that we have to do wimpy workouts just because we are the gentler sex. Start smaller with more reps and work up to larger weights with less reps. Trust me, you won't get a man body.
Hahaha, deadlifts with those tiny non-weights? give me a break. Show me a good booty and I'll show you a woman who can squat her bodyweight and deadlift twice as much.
A great way to also tone your inner thighs while doing lunges is before going into the lunge after standing, take the leg that you're going to put behind you, and swing it forward and around to behind you and going into your lunge from there. While you're swinging your leg around, keep it as high as you can while keeping your leg straight. This will also help with your flexibility. I had been doing this without the pause in between and doubling it as a cardio work-out. The only thing with doing this, is you probably want to have something to hold on to (I use either a chair or my fridge door) with your opposite hand for balance.

My booty is my pride and joy! I love doing lunges, squats and bridging. Also the treadmill and elliptical machines are my bestfriends!
