7 Beauty Products to Retire in 2013From tired trends to crusty mascaras, these are the products you should toss ASAP |
Anything that's changed color, consistency, or smell If it doesn't look or smell the way it did when you bought it, throw it away. Manicurists have tricks they use when it comes to clumpy nail polish (paint thinner) or runny lotion (adding Vaseline), but doctors agree that if something's questionable, you're better off ditching it. After all, if the sunscreen you think is from last summer is actually from three summers before, you're in for a wicked sunburn.

I love going through my stash and making room for new goodies. I'm keeping my full coverage foundation. There's no need to throw it out when you can just mix it with some moisturizer to make a tinted moisturizer..

I agree with everything except about the hair extension and the foundation. I never cake my foundation on to the point that it looks fake- most people don't know I wear make up anyway...and there's no way I'm giving up my extensions. Just not gonna happen.
