7 Best Celebrity Perfumes — and the 3 WorstSee which celebrity-endorsed women's perfumes our readers go gaga for and which ones make them gag |
The Worst: No. 3: White Diamonds Elizabeth Taylor Parfum, $100 TotalBeauty.com average reader rating: 6.4*
Why: One reader says, "it's like granny perfume that has been sitting on the dresser for 40 years. Very strong. Not for me." Another agrees saying, "classic doesn't always mean great. It's definitely a strong scent that is good for anyone over the age of 50, I wouldn't say 'grandma' because this is an old scent, but it's something that the older ladies probably used when they were teens." Another woman says, "I received it as a Christmas gift and tried it, but had to give it away because I couldn't handle it. I love the packaging — it is always so elegant. I just can't handle the smell."

Nice choices. Should I admit this? I was appalled by the color of Lady Gaga's "Fame" perfume. The bottle is hard to open with it's claw-like top. But the fragrance is intriguing--it's floral and fruit with a note of incense as well. I love it.

My only wish was that more were covered. I found it very interesting and am planning on checking a couple of them out. A link or bit about the notes in the perfume would have helped me, but a person's opinion says a lot.

It's funny to know that White Diamonds still sells even though it's the most disgusting perfume I've ever smelled. Very Hollywood by Michael Kors is amazing!

I would buy almost anything Kim K puts her name on. However, her fragrances are terrible....just saying.

This is very informative. Almost every celebrity under the sun has developed their own fragrance, so I could never trust them enough to buy them. Even the D-list, faux celebrities of reality TV are trying to sell fragrances of dubious quality. A funny thing... Over a decade ago, my ex-husband bought my mother a huge bottle of Elizabeth Taylor\'s White Diamonds. To this day, mom keeps it on her dresser only because the bottle is pretty. The perfume is virtually unused!
