Best Curling Iron No. 7: Sultra The Bombshell 1.5 Inch Curling Rod, $130 TotalBeauty.com average member rating: 8.6*
Why it's great: Even with the hefty price, readers say this curling wand is worth every penny. "Naturally, I was extremely hesitant to pay $130 for a curling iron," one user admits. "This thing literally takes 10 to 15 minutes to style my entire head, and the results are better than if you were to use traditional curling irons, flat irons, heated curlers, dry curlers, etc. This gives you the best hair of your life. It makes your hair shiny too!"
Users with naturally straight hair are particularly impressed with this product. "I have poker straight hair and have never been able to hold a curl," says one user. "My friend told me that the Bombshell curl would last. I used hers and wow, bouncy curls all day. I am now an owner of my very own Bombshell curling iron."

I bought the Revlon curling iron but I don't really like it. I think I'm going to try a clampless iron next time.

It's so weird...I've had the TIGI Bed Head curling iron since 2008 and have always curled my hair with no problems or any major damage to my hair...And the price was pretty fair in my opinion. Hmmm...A great story however :)

I think my Karmin G3 clipless curling iron is the best! Lol, each to their own, but karmin is definitely a pro brand :)

Now I know why the styling tools at the grocery store or local "Walgreens" type store are cheaper... it's because they don't work well. As most things in life, you get what you pay for!

I really like my Conair Infiniti Curling Iron. My curls last all day and even the next morning when I wake up! I need to get another one with a larger barrel.
