As a diehard devotee of the TV comedy "Arrested Development," I distinctly remember when I heard it was getting cancelled. It was a dark, dark day.
OK, so yes, I realize I'm being a bit melodramatic here. But the point is, I had a semi-obsession with this show and I was sad to see it go. And I wasn't alone; over the years "Arrested Development" has gathered a massive cult following so powerful that the show is coming back on air for a new season this spring. "Arrested" fans everywhere, rejoice!
And hilarious TV series aren't the only things that have cult followings. Certain beauty products practically have their own fan clubs, too. Sure, there's plenty of stuff out there that people like, but we're talking about the rare group of products that people borderline obsess over: cult classics.
So we've rounded up the most beloved products -- the ones with fans so devoted that news of their discontinuation would inspire rallies and protests to bring 'em back. Essentially, these are the "Arrested Development" of beauty products. Which one would you be nowhere without?
Meh, I know some of these products are definitely so ingrained in our culture people have often heard of them even if they arent very interested in this type of thing. The Smiths balm is an excellent product to have on hand for anyone. I was a bit surprised YSL eclate (sp) wasnt mentioned as it seems to be "1 of those". I actually prefer the Clarins. I havent tried Nars but would like to, havent seen it in Canada but I am rural so shopping online is a common thing. Doesnt seem to slow me down as I have an overabundance of products! I just got the Dior mascara and havent yet opened it as I dont like to have more than a few going as they dry up after opening whether or not tou use them, at least it seems that way to me. Trying Armani and Lancome, on a high end kick to see if they are any better!!
The two things that stand out to me are Chanel ( It smells like baby powder) and Clinique moisturizer. I have a bottle of that collecting dust. It feels heavy and waxy. I do like the rose salve and candle.
Dior show is WAY too hard to get off. Even after over 12 hours of wear, I couldn't get it off. That was quite annoying. You'd think that would be a good thing, but it kind of sucked, I thought I was going lose my eyelashes! If I wore blush I would have tried the Nars blush...

I'm surprised that MAC or Bobbi Brown's gel liners didn't make the list. The rose salve is definitely a must no matter what! Perfect consistency!
