How To Do Your Own Bridal MakeupDon't want to spend big bucks on getting your makeup professionally done? Hey, if Kate Middleton can do hers, so can you. Try these tips... |
Step 1: Prep the skin Take as good care of your skin as possible in the weeks leading up to your wedding. Stress and dehydration will likely be your main enemies, but the better your skin looks the day of, the less makeup you'll need. Above all, moisturize well every night and use SPF every day. Emergency tip: Store an eye gel, serum or balm in the fridge and use it on your eyes the morning of the wedding. (Try SK-II Advance Eye Treatment Film Revitalising Eye Contour Gel, $95)

Good tips, especially PRACTICE!!!! I'm hoping to do my own makeup for my wedding next summer.... but a makeup artist friend offered to do it for not very much, so maybe I'll have her do it instead!

I agree that these tips can work for everyone! Using too much color can ruin any look, so I like your idea of keeping to a simple neutral look for eyes.

Although I'm not a bride, I think these are great tips. I had never considered natural blushing and using too much blush before. I blush easily so this was a great tip for me. Thank you!
