No. 7: PUR Minerals Color Correcting Primer, $30 Here's another primer that gets big points for doing more than most. It contains dimethicone crosspolymer, a silicone oil that keeps your complexion hydrated and creates a barrier on skin to prevent environmental aggressors from causing vascular dilation (which leads to redness).
"I have very oily skin and tend to go heavy on the foundation and concealer to cover blemishes and scars," says one Total Beauty reader. "This primer tints my face enough so that all I need is a light dusting of makeup. And I can wear it all day without needing to blot my face ONCE. To me, this is a miracle." Raves another reader: "I have used many primers but have found that I like this the best, hands down. It makes my makeup last significantly longer and evens out my skin tone."

Double duty products are my favorites. Products need to improve my skin, not just cover the problems.

I was surprised to read that Eucerine has a concealer product. I do not suffer from rosacea myself, but I have a daughter that does and It think this would be awesome to try. Eucerine is a brand that my Dermatologist recommends for dry skin including eczema and rosacea so I am anxious to give it a whirl and see if it really does work. I am also a fan of Neutrogena, but I have not tried their concealers yet. Guess it's time to expand my horizons and try something new. Thank you for the great ideas!

The Neutrogena Skin Clearing Concealer did nothing for me. It definitely did not conceal; there was no pigmentation to it whatsoever.
