Waxing has long been many women's go-to hair removal method and in recent years, threading, the ancient Arabic/Indian technique has gained popularity in America. Good news: Both methods remove hair at the root so the hairlessness lasts longer than shaving, and the process doesn't take long.
Bad news: They can both be painful and leave you with red skin or ingrown hairs. Also, Kauvar cautions against waxing if you use a retinoid because the hot wax can burn your newly sensitive skin or even remove a layer or two! Plus, with both options, you'll have to contend with stubble, which, since it's on your face, might get maddening.
Some advice: Do not attempt waxing at home unless you know what you're doing. It's very easy to misjudge the temperature of the wax and cause some serious damage. This is your face we're talking about. These days a professional wax can be had for a very good price (usually between $10-20).
I have used (sally hansen) also got outline..burn as well..lotion only makes it worse..but shaving for some like my mom (during my entire childhood) looks like a mans beard if she doesnt.. It does depend on the individual. Please yourself first..Then worry about everyone else..
when i used a hair removal cream for my face (a sally hansen product), it removed the hair but left my skin feeling very strange in the areas i used it. my makeup wouldn't stick to the areas i used it for almost 3 weeks! i walked around with a huge outline of where i used it on the side of my face. has anyone else ever had this issue? liquid, cream, powder... nothing would stay stick! it would just build up around it.
i have been shaving my peach fuzz since i was 16 and NO your hair does not grow back thicker or anything of the crazy sort. of course everyone reacts differently to any kind of shaving, waxing or tweezing but for this 23 year old hispanic girl shaving is the best option!

For me, waxing and tweezing are the only way to go. Shaving your face is a big no no in my opinion!

I love old school veet, just don't leave it on too long or you will end up with redness.

I'll leave it to the professionals... I'm too scared of messing up something I can't hide.
