Maybelline New York Color Show Nail Lacquer, $3.99 This new nail polish line has more than 40 vibrant shades to choose from, and at $4 a pop, you can stock up on the whole collection without emptying your wallet. "When I first started applying the polish, I was nervous about the texture, because it's super thick," says Assistant Editor Emily Popp. "But it actually goes on very smoothly, and you only need one coat, which really cuts down on manicure time. But the real bonus is that the polish lasted a long time without chipping."

I tried Lancome Hypnose Star Mascara... it has a fragrance, and the brush is strange, but it's an okay mascara. I wouldn't put it in my Top 8 Fall 2012 Makeup Collections though.
