Girls' Night Out MakeoverSexy blow out? Check. Smoky eye? Check. Sparkly top? Check. Oh, it is so on |
|
Eyeshadow Heather's girls' night out calls for some drama, so Anton uses the purple shade in the Almay Intense I-Color Smoky-I Kit for Brown Eyes, $6.99, on her lids and along her lower lashline.
Anton uses a slightly stiff brush to pack on multiple layers of the color on her lids for a darker hue (you can also try wetting the shadow for an intense color if you'd like). If you want a more sheer look you can use a fluffier brush. Then she applies the bronzy shade in the crease and the champagne shade in the inner corners of Heather's eyes. Finally, she uses a fluffy brush to blend the shadow so there are no telltale lines.
A little tip from Anton: Once you're happy with your shadow, use a little makeup remover to clean up any smudges or dropped shadow underneath your eyes. You can try Almay Oil-Free Makeup Eraser Sticks, $5.50, for an easy all-in-one option.

Like the look but agree it seems like a Almay commercial.

This is just a series of ads for almay products. I did at least like to see the eye shadow pattern technique though.

I hate it when ads are disguised as real articles! Makes me second guess everything I just read.

Looks good on her. Glad she finally smiled! :) I don't get applying foundation AFTER eye makeup... odd

Apply the eye makeup BEFORE the concealer and foundation -- are you kidding me? And, is this an Almay ad disguised as an article?
