Silver and Blue Forget what you've heard about blue eye shadow -- it isn't some tacky '80s trend. Not only will it brighten your look, it also pairs perfectly with another wintertime hue, silver. Try lining the eyes with a navy shade and creating a wintry blue smoky eye. Then use the silver at the inner corners of the eyes and along your water line to give a frosty effect that really opens up the eyes.

I agree with everyone else, showing us pictures of the final look on someone would have been better, but they are still nice ideas. Just be careful about bright colors on more then one area on your face. Like the red lips and blue eyeliner may be tricky to pull off without looking like a clown. I suggest sticking with one focal point (red lips, smokey eyes, etc) then let the rest be neutral colors.
