Melt-proof makeup tip #3: Use powder "I recommend using a setting powder in the t-zone area only. That way you can maintain a dewy look," says Rodriguez. Dust some loose powder on your nose, chin, upper lip (where you tend to get oily), and the center of your forehead. Leave everything else glowy. We recommend Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Airbrushing Loose Powder SPF 30, $13.99.

I was hoping for some good tips to keep make-up from dripping with the steamy FL heat. Powders help, but I've tried it on my eyelids and it doesn't seem to work to keep color from "traveling" there.

This is a great article.. very helpful since I live in a desert state. Hot and dry so light layers of makeup is the key. But this article was for summer 2011 - why so outdated? Are the colors recommended still working in summer 2012?
