Snoop Inside 5 Eco Experts' Beauty StashesFind out what products these natural beauty gurus keep inside their medicine cabinets and makeup bags |
Her makeup bag Tata Harper sent us a photo of her makeup bag -- a 100 percent organic cotton pouch by fellow green beauty expert Christy Coleman. Of course, Harper keeps a few must-haves from her own line on hand (the Tata Harper Aromatic Stress Treatment, $80, and Tata Harper Improved Floral Essence, $65, an amazing hydrating mist), but we were surprised by how many other cool, independent brands she loves.
Her go-to makeup products are Revolution Organics Freedom Lip Gloss, Ilia Beauty Tinted Lip Conditioner, Kjaer Weis Cream Blush Compact, RMS Beauty Living Luminizer, Vapour Organic Beauty Mesmerize Eye Color and Nvey Eco Moisturizing Mascara. Her fragrance of choice is Tsi~La Organics Ilang Ilang Eau de Parfum. And she always carries a bottle of Intelligent Nutrients Certified Organic Hand Sanitizer -- a necessity when traveling around New York City. Even Harper's hair products are green -- she uses a sustainable Widu Wooden Bristle Pneumatic Oval Brush and Lulu Organics Jasmine Hair Powder. Her favorite place to buy eco beauty essentials is spiritbeautylounge.com, where most of these products can be found.

I agree with EricaF123! the prices on these things are ridiculous, i wish "eco/green" products werent so expensive. I wonder if they actually use their stuff or if they just stuffed some in to their bags to plus themselves

It looks like Harper and Kramer were the only ones that shared their real make-up bags. The others just looked like an advertisement for their products.

This sounds like a lot of makeup formulators advertising their own products.

I can only give this article 4 stars simply because the product prices are outrageous. I'm all for going natural but also, it needs to be affordable.
