10 Best Emmy Awards Looks You Can Wear NowNot a celebrity? Doesn't matter! We share how to make red carpet hair and makeup looks wearable for every day |
Debra Messing: Makeup Makeup artist Carol Shaw created Messing's sultry look for Emmy day. She recommends toning down the eyes for a more natural, everyday look by blending vanilla-colored shadow under the brow bone and medium cool brown shadow on lids. Then line the top and bottom lash lines with dark brown. She used Lorac Red Carpet Reveal Eye & Cheek Palette, $35, which contains all of the shades just mentioned. Cheap swap: Wet 'n' Wild Ultimate Expressions Eyeshadow Palette in Paradise Cove, $4.99. Finish the eye with two coats of black mascara.
Complete the look by dusting cheeks with bronzer (Shaw used Lorac Tantalizer Baked Bronzer, $30, cheap swap: Physician's Formula Baked Pyramid Bronzer, $10.99) and glossing lips with a light nude lipgloss (Shaw used Lorac Couture Shine Liquid Lipstick in Vintage, $22, cheap swap: Clinique Full Potential Lips Plump and Shine in Beach Bunny, $17.50).
