At-Home Waxing Do: Try These Tips for a DIY Brazilian Wax ...Remember ALL of the previous steps to at-home waxing still apply for a Brazilian wax at home. Because this is a DIY Brazilian, there are a few other precautionary steps to follow to avoid bruising or burning yourself down there.

Start with a reputable wax product, like GiGi Brazilian Body Hard Wax, $17.99, and GiGi Wax Warmer, $36.99, so you don't need to keep stopping to reheat the wax.

Make sure you have a small magnifying mirror that you can hold in your hand or prop up on a chair or the floor to inspect your work. Apply the wax in small sections (no larger than one by three inches) to ensure a smooth bikini wax and to avoid unnecessary pain. Pro tip: The front section will be the most unpleasant, so it's best to work from front to back to get it over with first. I learned a few new tips for whenever I use my at home wax kit. It's a Gigi and it's amazing!! And yes, letting professionals do the brazilian for you is way easier!

Great article with some very good tips, if you're face is really red afterwards, I always hold ice or a cold compress. Also because it gets REALLY hot where I live, I've noticed it's better to wax at night because your skin has several hours to recover, without makeup or sunscreen, both of which can irritate freshly waxed skin.
