Disgusted but not surprised to see Alabama has health problems. Southern states tend to have many overweight/unhealthy people. Yikes!

I am from the south and there is a huge misnomer about health in those regions. There are some very healthy and beautiful people who live there, but extremes exist as well. I think it has to do with poverty/income/types of jobs. There are more factory and blue collar jobs. They do what they can with what they have.
