Kate Hudson Hairstyle Tip: Modernize a traditional braid by adding texture. Roughly blow dry hair with your hands to start. Tease the crown of your hair for added volume then loosely braid hair just below the nape of your neck. Leave at least a few inches unbraided at the ends and secure. Use your hands to massage the braid to loosen it up. Then pull out a few face-framing pieces of hair and wrap them around a curling iron, holding the iron vertically and twisting the hair away from your face. Pick up other strands and flip out the ends with a flat iron to vary the look. See other braided hairstyle ideas here.
