How to Pack Your Beauty Products Like a ProNo more beauty product explosions or suitcase worries. With these tips you'll have one less thing to stress about when traveling |
Don't Forget the 3-1-1 Rule TSA only allows 3.4-ounce -- or less -- bottles (100ml) of all liquids, aerosols and gels that are enclosed in one quart-sized, clear, plastic, zip-top bag per passenger to be carried on board. Which means, unless you are packing your beauty products in your checked baggage, you need to either buy travel-sized beauty products or get refillable plastic containers.
Keep in mind, if you don't need full-sized products, LLjubo-Obrien recommends packing all your beauty products in your carryon. It's far easier for you to control the movement of your items (read: less chance for spillage).

I always tend to over-pack; this will make me think first. A bag or carrier with many compartments is definitely an essential!

I find I have gotten so used to travelling by car where I can have numerous bags and shoes etc, that when I recently tried to take a trip by train I had such difficulty paring it down as I alweays take at least 2x what I would need. I ended up purchasing a couple of excellent products one is a toiletry item from LL Bean, worth every penny as the quality is unsurpassed and I went for the deluxe one so I will have no regrets. Investing in proper items is important for your sanity, pocketbook etc as you want to enjoy your time away and protect your items etc. After geat frustration that is my advice!!!!

I will use this advice when packing for my next trip. I usually have one product casualty by the time I arrive.

Some of these are common sense but wrapping your rain jacket around your toiletries is a super good tip!
