Quillian also thinks that people shouldn't be shy about rearranging a shot. "If someone asks you to pose with a group and you prefer to be on the left side, go ahead and ask people to scooch -- whatever makes you comfortable -- remember, a photo lasts forever."

I think it's great to want to look your best, but I feel like we overthink photos these days. When you're having a good time, it'll show in a picture. But anytime anyone pulls out camera, people get overly concerned about how terrible they think they look and then worry about it being posted on facebook. It's too bad.
