Hairstyle Tip 6: Modify your ponytail Instead of trying to braid your hair this way and that, a summer trend that caught on like wildfire, let your ponytail loose. Ponytails are huge for fall and this season wear them with volume at the crown (a la Bridget Bardot). To get volume at your crown, use a fine-tooth comb and tease one-inch sections at a time, pushing hair down gently towards your scalp. Then, using the same comb, lightly smooth hair back over the teased section and secure with elastic. Lock everything in place by misting with a strong-hold hairspray like TIGI Hard Head Hard Hold Hairspray, $11.50.

I use "Faciano dry shampoo" since it removes oil and bad smell in another way, non-powder, you don't need to clean the powder at all. Very efficient and clean.

I know you might find this hard to believe, but there are ladies of color who are part of this community. Every person in this article is white with pretty straight type hair. updating tool is a good idea, newer tool have adjustable heat settings, and probably do have dust clogged in them, but boy do they get expensive. I have "salon grade" blow dryer, it dries fast because it's strong basically one setting and a cool blast button, but it's really bad for your hearing. If you get a blow dry... go for a quiet one, you ears and your family/ housemates will appreciate it much!

Agree with Tresemme Dry Shampoo being one of the worst, I did not get nice results when I tried it.
