Jojoba Oil Best for: All skin types
Technically a liquid wax, jojoba "oil" most closely mimics the sebum naturally produced by skin and hair. Translation: Whether your complexion is dry, oily, or a little bit o' both, jojoba oil can help balance out your skin's moisture levels. Baumann adds that it's also anti-inflammatory, a good pick for conditions like eczema and psoriasis. Not to mention that it blends well with other oils, makes a great base for essential oils, and is typically fairly inexpensive. I consider it the LBD of oils--one everyone needs in their collection.
Try: Desert Essence Organic Jojoba Oil, $15.99

I am loving oils as a way to cleanse and care for my skin and hair. When you think about it, it dates back to Biblical days!

I'm now obsessed! I use a mixture of oils for cleaning and put rose hip seed oil on 2-3x a day! I wish I had started years ago. It is natural and my skin has never felt/looked better!

Good article. Chamomile and olive oil are really good. I would love to try grapefruit oil.

I have tried most of these (esp. tea tree and grapeseed on my acne-prone skin) and they do work. I'm surprised maracuja oil was left out. I've used this for about two years. It's high in vit C, so many of my blotches and old acne marks have disappeared.
