The Hottest Trends in Skin Care Right NowFrom CC creams to in-office procedures, find out everything you need to know about the seven biggest skin care trends for 2013 |
BB creams for oily skin I've worked in beauty for more than nine years, and BB creams are the biggest skin care trend I've ever seen. Now, there are dozens (maybe even hundreds) of BB creams on the market, and there are micro-trends within the category.
The latest crop of BB creams is designed for women with combination and oily skin. These women felt that BBs left them shiny -- and brands listened. Dr. Brandt BB Matte, $39, contains mattifying ingredients, and Garnier Skin Renew BB Cream for Combination to Oily Skin, $11.99, is an oil-free version of their best-selling BB.

I use products with exotic oils on my hair and my face and i love how moisturizing they are! They are very popular ingredients of the organic products!

I have never tried a sleeping mask, i move around a lot when I sleep so I'm afraid it'll all end up smeared on my pillow during the night!! But I'm really looking forward to trying the YesToGrapefruit dark spot correcting cream, sounds great. Thanks again totalbeauty!

This info is very helpful. I quit using the Garnier BB because of that - too oily. I'm currently using the Dr. Jart w/sunscreen bb cream. It has primer, spf, and works on detoxifying the skin. it's pricey, but a little goes a long way and Sephora carries a small size (cheaper) so that helps. I tried the Cover Girl CC cream, and didn't really care for it. My skin didn't take too well to that one. I'll look into the self tanner, since I have so many freckles, that may be a good way of getting a more even skin tone.

All of these beauty products sound great, especially the self-tanners and the oil-free BB creams. I stay out of the sun, so I\'m always looking for good self-tanner. The BB cream I\'m currently using makes my skin feel greasy, so hopefully, the oil-free versions will work better, especially for the summertime!

Very impressed with info and that there's a choice between high-end (and costly) product and something more affordable. And NEW !! Always love new scientific (it is, isn't it? right) info to help. Thanxx.

I'm looking forward to trying the new self tanners. I haven't use one in over 20 years!
