How to Get Tousled Wavy Hair for Every Length'Tis the season for sexy tousled hair. Get your beach-worthy hair now |
For short hair: Step 1: Using a small round brush, blow dry sections of hair and roll the brush away from your face.
Step 2: With a 3/4-inch curling iron, wrap 1-inch sections of hair from mid-shafts to ends only (leave the roots straight). Curl random sections of hair in different directions to create a more haphazard, rough texture.
Step 3: Gently tousle your hair with your hands to break up the curls.

I tried the mini buns once and they looked great for a couple of hours and then they fell out. I didn't use any product thought, hopefully this time around they will stick around

These are pretty good tips, though I can never use the bristle brush, but I like the idea of no curlers. For my hair though I use 2" curls and spritz and they settle with 15min and I spritz again. I'm gonna try the mini buns and I hope they work. Never though it would work because I'm not a fan of the blow dryer.

I'm going to give it a try! Looks easy, but we will see. I have really fine hair and not a lot of it! Wish me luck!

I use the diffuser on my long hair. The mini bun tangled my hair.

Great article! My long hair is naturally curly, so I have to tame it down to achieve this look. Definitely worth trying!
