The cut Since Wendy wants to grow out her bangs, Santos thinned out her front layers so her bangs will blend in with the rest of her hair. She's also going a bit shorter. "Shorter styles -- like the long bob -- are really hot for 2012," says Santos. "And Wendy's hair is really versatile -- she can do a lot with it since it's straight and shiny." To get beachy waves, Wendy can rough-dry her hair with her head upside down, then use a curling iron. For a smoother, sleeker look, she can use a flat iron after drying, says Santos, who also recommends that Wendy use an oil to boost shine. Try L'Oreal Professionnel Mythic Oil, $32.

Wendy looks great! I've been wanting a hair makeover for a while and I just purchased a groupon voucher for an Aveda hair salon. I think I'm going to hold out and see if I can reach my weight loss goal before the groupon expires this August. I'm inspired!
