Hairspray is pretty much ingrained in our culture. I mean, there's even a whole film-turned-Broadway show-turned-back into a film situation revolving around hairspray � and it's not hard to see why. Where would we be without hairspray?

Those hours spent curling, teasing, and backcombing would be for nothing if it weren't for hairspray. It's the finishing touch that keeps everything perfectly in place. Not to mention the best hairsprays make your hair (and bathroom) smell divine. When a hairspray is good, it's the crown jewel of a hairstyling routine.

But when a hairspray is bad, it's bad.
