Rule #5: Break Up Dark Spots
When we were kids, those little brown dots on our faces were known as cute-as-a-button freckles. Now, we call them age spots. To reduce the look of age spots, apply a corrective treatment containing ingredients like kojic acid, hydroquinone, arbutin, licorice root extract and niacinamide. In addition, Alpha hydroxy acids and retinol can help fade spots by turning over dead skin cells to reveal brighter, fresher-looking skin.
