Marc Jacobs Beauty Style Eye-Con No. 3 Palette, $38 After months of writing about Marc Jacobs Beauty -- which debuts on August 9 -- I finally got to see the collection in the flesh. I can vouch for it all (pre-order now!), but if you're only going to buy one piece, go for this eye palette. The colors are classic and wearable, and offer plenty of pigment, but what really sold me is the packaging. The palate itself is sleek and flat like a skipping stone, and it comes in a fabric pouch with the Marc Jacobs logo. If you're going to buy designer makeup, isn't that the point?
