So I headed out to Miami over the weekend to attend the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. It was held for the first time in Miami at the recently renovated (for a measly $800 million) Fontainbleau hotel. The place was gorgeous and somewhat Vegas-like (think scantily clad dancers by the pool).

The first item on my agenda was to interview the key artists who designed the beauty looks for the show. Charlotte Tilbury created the gorgeously glam look you see above and Oribe (Jennifer Lopez's stylist) did the hair. Here's how to get the makeup look (since I know that if you're like me, you'll want to know what you can do to look more like one of the lovely VS ladies):

Step 1: Contour your face by sweeping bronzer (try Victoria's Secret Very Sexy Makeup Mosaic Bronzer in Goddess, $18) under your cheekbones and along your temples.

Step 2: Highlight your features by dusting shimmery, peachy-pink blush (try the limited-edition Victoria's Secret Very Sexy Makeup Heidi Klum Collection Blush, $22) on the tops of the apples of your cheeks. Follow that by applying bone-colored shimmery shadow along the tops of your cheekbones and down the bridge of your nose.

Step 3: Sweep a combination of gold and silver shimmery eye shadows from lash lines to brow bones. (Hint: Use more gold if your skin is medium to dark and more silver if you're fair).

Step 4: Line lash lines in dark chocolate-colored powder shadow.

Step 5: Apply false lashes to top lash lines and finish the eyes with three coats of mascara on top and bottom lashes.

Step 6: To get what Tilbury calls "supermodel lips," first apply nude lip liner (try Victoria's Secret Very Sexy Makeup Lip Liner in Ginger Spice, $10). Follow that up with a matching lipstick (try Victoria's Secret Very Sexy Makeup Perfect Lipstick in Whisper, $12) and a shimmery, nude gloss (try the limited-edition Victoria's Secret Very Sexy Makeup Heidi Klum Collection Lip Gloss in Cupcake, $12).
