  • You may already use astringent after cleansing to tone your skin or help shrink pores, but the makers of Sea Breeze wanted to share a few ways of using it that you may have never thought of:

  • • As a bug bite remedy: It can calm the itching and stinging.

  • • As a heat remedy: On a hot day, it can help cool you. Try adding it to ice water and soaking a hand towel in the mixture, then applying it to your neck or feet.

  • • As a waxing aid: Applying astringent before waxing can keep the wax from sticking to skin by removing excess oil.

  • Do you have any other creative uses for astringent? What other products have you found multiple uses for? Also, if you're looking for more double-duty products, check out our guide to the Top 27 Multi-Tasking Beauty Products.
