I'm so thrilled Misty May-Treanor is going to be on "Dancing With The Stars" this season. Have I mentioned that I went to high school with Misty? Well, I did. So it's been so exciting to see her career take off.

The other reason why I think it'll be great to see her on the show is because it'll be so much fun to see a gold medal winner all gussied up. Some of the hair and makeup looks they wear on the show are seriously intense. We're talking cans and cans of hairspray. For an athlete who doesn't usually wear a lick of makeup and performs best barefoot, this should be an experience. We'll have to see if her competitive ways work their magic on the dance floor. Somehow I don't think she'll disappoint. She just has to remember to point her toes and bat the serious false lashes she'll be sporting. Good luck Misty!
